Several members of the National Survivor Network were in Washington recently for meetings at the White House and several federal agencies. The network, formed by the California-based Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking, brings together trafficking survivors from 24 countries to ensure that those who have experienced slavery firsthand are at the forefront of the anti-slavery movement.
