We at Free the Slaves are certain that slavery can be overcome if everybody does their part.

There are simple things that you – and even your children – can do to bring us one step closer to slavery’s end.

Greyson, a 13 year old Massachusetts boy, has taken his fight against slavery to YouTube.

Greyson asked us if he could use Free the Slaves photos to build a fundraising video for his seventh grade social science project. His class was studying slavery and each student was asked to make a public service announcement. Greyson feels his video “raises awareness about the awful way people treat others.” He composed the music, wrote the script and did the editing by himself.

Greyson would like to be a filmmaker when he grows up. He has attended summer filmmaking camps since he was 8. In his free time, he likes to write movie scripts and make videos. “I love making videos and helping a good cause at the same time,” Greyson says. “I hope this film will bring the issue to the front of people’s minds and that people will help fight against modern slavery.”

Thank you Greyson!
