Have you purchased your ticket to join Free the Slaves at our annual United for Freedom Campaign event? Come watch D.C. United play the San Jose Earthquakes Saturday, Sept. 23 at RFK Stadium! We have organized a terrific pregame tailgate starting at 4:30 p.m., where you can talk with FTS staff, win giveaways valued at over $1200, enjoy food provided by Buffalo Wild Wings, and have some fun playing lawn games.

The fight against slavery cannot be won alone, and we would appreciate your personal show of support at our fun-filled event. Donations to FTS free people around the world through our innovative community-based strategy and partnerships.

In Haiti, for example, Free the Slaves has joined forces with Beyond Borders in a coalition called United to End Child Slavery. This collaboration works to end the system of child domestic servitude known as restavèk. By uniting our two organizations, we are educating Haitian families about child slavery. You can support programs like this by donating $25, $50, or $100 to United for Freedom!

If you aren’t able to attend the soccer game or tailgate event, no worries. There are many other ways to give, including mailing a check or donating online. Can’t make it to the game, but still want to participate in the tailgate party drawing? Email Allie Gardner to find out how you can win: allie.gardner@freetheslaves.net

All proceeds from our online campaign and soccer event go toward the Free the Slaves mission of liberating people from slavery and changing the conditions that allow slavery to persist.

Can you help end the conditions that cause modern slavery?
