The fight against slavery cannot be won alone. It takes unity. Freedom is possible when organizations, governments and communities work together to safeguard the lives of the vulnerable.

That’s why Free the Slaves has created a network of partner organizations that rebuild lives and protect entire communities from traffickers.

But the staff of Free the Slaves needs you to be truly united. Our work is possible because of donors like you. Last year, we funded projects with 16 partners in six countries! Your contributions facilitated trainings, enabled rescues, jailed traffickers, rehabilitated survivors and provided support to courageous front-line activists doing amazing work.

Help us continue this effort by supporting our United for Freedom Campaign during September. Your gift of $25, $50 or $100 makes a huge difference.

If you’re in D.C., Maryland or Virginia, please unite with us for a special D.C. United soccer game. We have great seats reserved for Saturday, September 23Join us at 4:30 p.m. as we tailgate with refreshments and great food. Meet the Free the Slaves team, cheer on the D.C. United soccer team, and win excellent prizes!

We have 12 sponsored prizes for this year’s tailgate event. Look for our announcement next week on what they are! You won’t want to miss them.

Can you help end the conditions that cause modern slavery?
