The U.S. government employs millions of people as direct federal workers and government contractors. If you’re one of them, today is an important day!

It’s the beginning of the 2015 Combined Federal Campaign. It’s your chance to help Free the Slaves liberate people from slavery.

The Free the Slaves CFC number is 11482.

Donors to the CFC have the option of submitting a pledge via payroll deduction, cash, check, credit or debit card, or e-check/ACH. Pledges may be processed online or by completing a paper pledge form.  See the CFC Pledging Tutorial for a step-by-step guide on how to submit a pledge to the CFC.

The CFC tells us that in 2014, federal employees raised over $49 million, “funds that provided promising futures, an improved world, and better communities.” Free the Slaves received some of those funds thanks to the generosity of federal workers who want to see slavery ended once and for all.

We hope you will join us again. The 2015 campaign begins TODAY and runs through Dec. 15th. Federal workers, retirees, and government contractors are eligible to donate.

Thanks.

Can you help end the conditions that cause modern slavery?
